What we do
Mechanic Appointment is an information hub for periodic vehicle inspection. We explain, in plain English, what the test is called in each country, what it costs, how often it is due, and what gets checked. From each guide we link to a local price comparison service where you can compare approved workshops and book.
Where we come from
The hub is built by the team behind eukontrollpris.no, Norway's largest comparison service for EU-kontroll. After years helping Norwegian drivers find a fair inspection price, we are extending the same approach across Europe, starting with Germany through tuev-kosten.de.
How we keep it honest
Trust is the whole point. We do not publish clickbait, misleading prices, or fake reviews, and we keep advertising light and clearly separated from our guidance. In the odd case of wrong prices, drivers can report it, and we fix it. The goal is simple: be the resource you would recommend to a friend.
